To grow my fringe or not grow my fringe?... that is the question

When flattened down my fringe reaches midway down my nose, it is far too long and I have a dilemma, shall I tolerate the annoyance of a floppy fringe for a few more months until it has grown out, or do I do what I have done for the past year and chop it off again? Please bear in mind the fact that the last couple of times I cut my fringe I ended up looking like a playmobile toy:
